History of Hoek Modular Homes

Hoek Homes was started in 1967 in Queensland, Australia, as a family partnership. Company CEO Dean Hoek is a 3rd generation builder. Hoek Modular Homes has been established for 50 years in the Brisbane area. During this 50 years Hoek Modular Homes has built a solid reputation with the Master Builders Association, Department of Housing, families and local councils as quality prefab home builders and designers who take pride in their professional workmanship.

With Brisbane humble beginnings, Ern Hoek, Hoek Homes CEO, chose to move members of his young family to Gulf Country region of Queensland, Mt Isa. Younger brother of Ern and father joined the team. They had landed an important major contract to build 50 houses for The Department for Housing and Housing Commission. This was no mean achivement and feat as the only transport roads to Mt Isa in that time (the 60s) were not in good condition, flood affected and dirt. All building materials came by train if builders needed them. Despite that circumstances the project was completed successfully on time and after this Ern returned to Brisbane. They returned with a new family member 1 year of age, son Dean.

Hoek Homes successfully continued from time of that first project doing more projects for The Department of Housing who were very strict on home quality and this gave the company a solid foundation for any reason never compromising on home quality. As the many years passed by, Hoek Homes CEO, showed a love for quality building and all details and aspects of the industry. Dean Hoek obtained licence to install engineering systems for sanitary home drainage, completed his carpentry apprenticeship, and received an honor award for most promising and potential stage apprentice. Hoek Homes CEO also became very proficient in the operation of excavators, backhoes and bobcats. Dean Hoek then gained his Number of Licensed Builder and joined his Uncle Ray and father Ern and became a company's partner.

Dean Hoek in 2000 ventured on his own and due to this created Hoek Modular Homes company, recognising that the prefab modular homes building industry was lacking a good competitor with a customer service and quality at a high level. Hoek Modular Homes has grown and boasts a professional fantastic team. Quality and customer service are paramount the same standard recipe that built in the 60s Hoek Homes and has now seen today's Hoek Modular Homes company carry on many years.

Currently situated on the north of Brisbane, in Lawnton, the company continues providing homeowners with a trouble-free modern home building alternative, starting from selecting the perfect prefab home designs and ideas, to arranging all of the relevant local approvals and after this to installation a prefab home on-site. Prefab homes are constructed in their integrity and entirety with all modules and elements, kitchens, bathrooms and tiling through to floor coverings and every light fittings at the Brisbane premises, in the same time ensuring constant high quality control for each prefab home constructed. After completion, each prefab home has quality check again and then carefully and professionally packed before being delivered.
